Mathieu Monnier

Mathieu Monnier serves as Director, Private Investments. He is responsible for assisting the Chief Investment Officer in sourcing, due diligence, and monitoring of the firm’s private investments. Mathieu has over eight years’ experience in investment strategy analysis and due diligence, with an emphasis on hedge funds and private capital strategies.

Before joining Patrimonica in August 2023, he previously held the position of Director at Castle Hall Diligence, a firm specialized in due diligence for a clientele of global institutional investors. He conducted investment and operational due diligence for a wide range of alternative strategies, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, private debt and other alternative and traditional fund structures.

Mathieu began his career at Mackenzie Investments, where he held the position of client relations representative.

Mathieu holds a bachelor’s degree from Université de Montréal and is a CFA Charterholder.
