In 2009, with more than 25 years of experience with entrepreneurs and business people, Diane Henry founded Patrimonica, a Multi-Family Office. Her ability to grasp the true needs of these exceptional individuals has allowed her to evolve with them over two decades and to develop a comprehensive and integrated service offering.
The foundation of Patrimonica and its subsidiary Patrimonica Asset Management rest on the following values: integrity, high-level professionalism and independence, all of which are dear to the team of experienced professionals that Diane has gathered together.
Diane has a solid academic background. She is a member of the Quebec CPA order since 1983, holds a Master of Science degree in finance from the HEC Montreal and she is a registered Financial Planner. Her vision of a true Family Office in Canada has led her to interact with different American and European families which inspired her of the best practices of wealth management.
Diane initiates events to allow exchanges between families who have similar challenges and participate in numerous activities to foster family legacies. Diane serves on the board of Directors of the Club Saint James and has been Treasurer for the last 7 years.

Mark-Olivier oversees the day-to-day operations of the asset management division and is responsible for client service and business development efforts. He also acts as a member of the Investment Committee.
With 20 years’ experience in finance, Mark-Olivier previously spent 6 years at Hexavest Inc., an investment firm with clients across 4 continents. As Managing Director at Hexavest, he led the Client Services and Business Development team, as well as managing the relationship with the firm shareholders. Before that, Mark-Olivier spent almost 8 years as Senior Director, Investors Relations at Maestro Group, a real estate subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. Other roles include working in a private debt investment firm, a mutual fund company and an accounting firm.

Normand began his career in 1987 at Coopers & Lybrand as a chartered accountant. From 1991 to 1997, he worked for the investment dealer Casgrain & Cie in Montreal, where he specialized in the institutional bond market. He subsequently honed his investment experience in private investment management, serving as Vice-President of Kerr Financial Services from 1997 to 1999. In 1999, Normand joined Ernst & Young Investment Consulting Inc. to build and manage the Quebec practice. In April 2005, he had an opportunity to acquire the assets of this practice and founded iNFiNi-t Wealth Management Advisers Inc.
Normand holds a Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA, CA) in addition to being a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He has chaired the management committee of the Montreal Society of Financial Analysts and has graded examinations leading to the CFA designation. Normand has authored many articles in specialized investment journals, and he serves on the boards of directors of many charities.

Through her knowledge and skills acquired in accounting, taxation and consumption taxes during 7 years at Ernst & Young acting as a team leader in auditing for SMEs and through her experience as head of the accounting for the US head office at Quebecor World for five years, Marie-Line is currently responsible for implementing internal controls and improving business processes.
Marie-Line holds the Chartered Accountant designation (CPA, CGA).
Operations Director
Nancy has over 25 years of management experience in the investment industry.
During her career, she has successfully undertaken a variety of large-scale projects, including the integration and implementation of complex management platforms, for all the companies where she has worked: PSP Investment, AGF Private Investment and CIBC Global Asset Management. She was actively involved in the implementation of the Sim Corp Dimension system for PSP Investment and of Addepar at Patrimonica Asset Management (PAM).
The knowledge she acquired at the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) and McGill University (Certificate in Management, 1993-1996) has undeniably allowed her to develop skills and expertise in all matters specifically related to investment operations.
As Director of Operations at PAM, in addition to the operations team that she directly supervises, she also provides optimal support to the portfolio managers, the Chief Investment Officer and the Director of Compliance, thanks to her in-depth understanding of operational products, while paying particular attention to the needs of the advisory team.

Karine is responsible for implementing the firm’s compliance program. She has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and over 15 years in financial market compliance. Her experience includes the full development of the compliance program at Placements Montrusco Bolton as Director of Compliance. She continued her career by touching many facets of regulatory and operational compliance within several portfolio managers, including the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Desjardins International Asset Management. Karine has a bachelor’s degree in political science, concentration in international relations and has successfully completed several courses at the Canadian Securities Institute.

Member of the Patrimonica team since October 13, 2020, it is as Administrative Director that Chantal brings her many skills and her sense of organization, both on the Advisory and Asset Management sides.
With twenty years of experience in accounting and studies in accounting sciences, she started her business and successfully managed Les Evénements Idésia inc. as President and Chief Planner. She has managed major projects from A to Z including event design, marketing and logistics. She developed a great sense of leadership and multitasking. Then, with Nubik, a company offering leading cloud computing business solutions, her role as Director, Accounting and Human Resources allowed her to develop undeniable skills in human resources management, administration and accounting as well as in business analysis. business and IT project coordination.
Finally, let’s not forget to mention her 2-year experience aboard her superb catamaran. This stay in the Mediterranean Sea allowed her to acquire an assurance and an open-mindedness that is unmistakably noticeable in the assumption of her responsibilities with Patrimonica.

Dimitri possesses in excess of twenty years of experience in the analysis of investment strategies and due diligence specializing in hedge funds and private markets strategies.
Before joining Patrimonica in 2018, Dimitri was Director – Risk Diligence at Castle Hall where he contributed to the development of the firm’s investment risk diligence platform, itself derived from Castle Hall’s award winning operational due diligence platform.
Prior to that, Dimitri was Director – External Public Investments at OPTrust, one of Canada’s 10 largest defined benefit public pension funds where he implemented a hedge fund investment strategy with in excess of C$1 billion in capital in addition to supervising the daily operations of the trust’s broader external public investments group, itself representing in excess of C$10 billion. Dimitri holds and M.Sc. Finance from the Université de Sherbrooke and is also a CFA Charterholder. Besides Montréal, Dimitri has worked in Chicago, London and Toronto.

Philippe has produced numerous research reports over the years, including many presentations to private foundations and accounts.
Philippe holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from HEC Montréal (2003). He completed the Canadian Securities Course (2004), has been a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2009, and earned a CIPM (Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement) in 2011. The CIPM, granted by the CFA Institute, is the only professional designation entirely focused on the presentation and analysis of portfolio managers’ performance. Philippe oversees the creation of tailored presentations to our clients, including quantitative and qualitative analyses of each manager retained by clients. He also ensures that statements of investment policies remain accurate and up-to-date.

Jérémie joined the Patrimonica Asset Management team in January 2018 as an Analyst. His previous roles, notably as Head of Operations at the Investor Services and Treasury Department, allowed him to acquire knowledge enabling him to optimize the various internal portfolio management processes. It is thanks to his experience in the banking industry that he is now supporting the investment team. He ensures, among other things, the proper administrative functioning of the portfolios. Jérémie has contributed to the improvement of various operational processes, such as those dedicated to investment funds, while ensuring their periodic monitoring and evaluation.
His thoroughness, professionalism and dedication are highly appreciated by clients and colleagues.

Ming has earned a B.Comm. in accounting from the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University. He is also a member of the Order of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Quebec.
Ming specializes in investment accounting, financial planning and taxation for individuals. A resourceful self starter, he is recognized as a rigorous professional. His capacity to adapt and keen ability to master technological tools makes him an important member of the Patrimonica team.

In 2020, Mr. Charles Vézina joined the Patrimonica Conseil team as an advisor for investment accounting, financial planning, and taxation.
From the Ivey Business School at Western University in Ontario, Charles obtained an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration (HBA) degree in 2017. In addition to receiving a merit scholarship, for several years he was on the Dean’s Honor List. In 2018, he completed a graduate diploma in accounting. Then, he obtained his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation from the Order of Chartered Professional Accountants of Quebec in September 2020.
From 2018 to 2020, Charles acquired significant experience as a case manager by specializing in the field of financial services within a large accounting firm. His understanding of the various issues, his sense of communication and his ability to master complex files make him an undeniable asset for the management of certain client files at Patrimonica.
Charles quickly stood out at Patrimonica for the high quality of his work, his dedication to clients and his excellent judgment, which earned him the promotion to Director at the end of 2021.
Director and Shareholder
Alain Bouchard is a natural-born entrepreneur, he has over 45 years of experience in the retail industry and started his operations in 1980 with the launch of his first convenience store in Québec.
He is the founder of the companies from which Alimentation Couche-Tard originated, a company whose shares have been listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange since 1986 under the tickers ATD.A and ATD.B.
Over the years he took part, along with his closest collaborators and all staff members, in Couche-Tard’s growth. The network comprises today more than 15,200 stores, located in 25 countries. Approximately 125,000 people are employed throughout its network. In September2014, he took on a new role as Founder and Executive Chairman of the Corporation as he stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Bouchard has been a board member of CGI Group Inc. since 2013 and he also was a member of the board of directors of Québecor Inc. from 1997 to May 2009.
Alain Bouchard has received many personal awards that recognize his business excellence and his outstanding professional achievements throughout his career. The most recent ones being in 2017, when he was awarded an honorary doctorate in Consumer Sciences from the Université Laval in Québec City, he was also inducted to the Canadian Business Hall of Fame and he received the 2017 International Horatio Alger Award bestowed to individuals who have persevered through challenges to become successful entrepreneurs and community leaders. Mr. Bouchard has also received other distinguished awards in 2014 such as theGrand bâtisseur de l’économie du Québecfrom the Institute for governance, the T. Patrick Boyle Founder’s award from the Fraser Institute and Officer of theOrdre national du Québec.
Mr.Bouchard has been involved ina great number of philanthropic activities for many years. In 2012, he and his wife created the Sandra and Alain Bouchard Foundation which supports various causes associated with people living with intellectual disabilities as well as artistic and cultural projects. In 2015, they received the Exceptional philanthropist of the year award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals –Québec Chapter.

Holder of a bachelor and master’s degree in economics from Université de Montréal, CFA charterholder and the Certified Corporate Director (ASC), Mr. Lemieux has been working in the investment industry for more than 40 years, during which he has acquired extensive experience in all areas of the investment industry. He began his career as a bond manager at Hydro-Québec’s pension fund, before becoming Vice-President, Fixed Income Management at Élantis/Fiera. Finally, he spent the last 11 years of his career as Director, Investment Department for the Lucie and André Chagnon Foundation. His role was to participate in the elaboration of the investment policy, the search for strategies in equities, real estate and real assets.
Mr. Lemieux sits on several investment committees, including those of the Université Laval pension plan, the Université du Québec, Professionals’ Financial, and two religious communities. His role on the Investment Committee will be to act as an advisor on all new investment strategies offered to our clients and on the global asset allocation.

With a Bachelor of Arts, Masters in Finance and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, Mr. Caty has worked in the investment industry for nearly 50 years, during which time he has gained extensive experience in all investment spheres. Having notably been a portfolio manager in Canadian and American equities for more than three decades, he spent the last 24 years of his career with the pension plans of the Société de transport de Montréal (STM), including the last 12 as Chief investments, before retiring in 2012.
Mr. Caty has several accomplishments under his leadership at the STM: responsible for asset allocation; develop internal teams in each asset class; participate in the development of private and real estate investments; and directing the investments of one of the few pension funds in Quebec to maintain an actuarial surplus under his reign. Mr. Caty sat on the board of directors of Ivanhoé Cambridge (a real estate subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec), and he currently sits on the investment committee of a large Quebec pension fund totaling nearly ten billion dollars of assets under management.
Its role as advisor focuses on recommended strategies, asset allocation and sound governance.
